Romans 1:20

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

Our USA Wedding Reception

It was so much fun slipping back into my wedding dress for a second time! Not many brides get the chance, but my dress had traveled a long way to not be worn again! Everyone was a buzz from lunch time onward, some Joint Heirs friends setting up the room at Grace Community Church, and others fussing around me in the bathroom to get me all done up for our grand entrance. We were so excited to finally have a chance to celebrate with all our friends who couldn't make it out to South Africa for the wedding. We sent out invitations to all we would have liked at our wedding and asked them:

The event was such fun! We had our video of the ceremony played and then entered as it ended, welcomed in as "the new Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zekveld" for the second time! We got to speak to a whole bunch of friends that we hadn't even had the opportunity to see since we had arrived back to the US, and we fellowshipped the afternoon away with our nearest and dearest... The food was great and we even had a cake cutting again which was so cool! I, of course, was encouraged to smear it in his face, so I so lovingly obliged!

Thanks to all our friends who came along! Here are a few of them!

After the reception, once all our guests had left, Andrew and I ran around helping our Bible Study to pack up, while still in our wedding clothes, and then went off to get some In-and-Out for dinner! The lady in the drive-through thought we were on our way to prom - what a laugh we had! It was so cool to get home and open the gifts we were given, and one of my favorites was the cleaning supplies from the Mullins! What a helpful gift since I wouldn't know what products to buy here in the States! But thank-you to everyone for such generosity to us! We have been so blessed, so spoilt even, by all our friends, our new extended family!
